Krystal Marie Ball

Krystal Marie Ball was born on November 24, 1981. She is an American political commentator. She was previously a presidential candidate for the US Senate, as well as a television presenter for MSNBC. She was also a frequent contributor on The Huffington Post and co-host of The Hill's Rising together with Saagar Enti. Enjeti and Ball have announced that they will quit the show in the month of May 2021 in order to begin Breaking Points, a new independent venture with Krystal as well as Saagar. Ball is a co-host with Kyle Kulinski on the podcast Krystal Kyle & Friends. Her guest appearances on the show include Fox News, CNN and Fox News. Ball has been engaged to Jonathan Dariyanani since 2020. Ball attributes her new interest in politics partly due to her experience as a mom in the 2008 primaries. Additionally, she also was a witness to the US presidency election during her time working in Jordan. She was able to observe the impact of the election on people in that country and, as a result, gained an appreciation of the impact that US politics has on all people in the world. She was a Senior Fellow of the New Leaders Council. Ball was the Democratic Party nominee for Congress in Virginia's 1st district for the election of 2010, but lost to Republican incumbent Rob Wittman. From June 2012 to July 2015, she hosted the MSNBC show The Cycle. She launched the People's House Project in May 2017 to help Democratic causes.
