Kyra Minturn

 Kyraminturn Sedgwick was born August 19, 1965. She is an American actor and producer. She is most famous for her role as Deputy Chief Brenda Leigh Johnson in the TNT crime drama The Closer. Sedgwick received the Golden Globe Award in 2007 for her performance as Johnson and an Emmy Award 2010 for her portrayal. The series ended on August 13, 2012, following the completion of its seventh season. Sedgwick is also famous for her recurring role on Brooklyn Nine-Nine, playing Madeline Wuntch. Sedgwick received the Golden Globe Award for her performance in Something to Talk About (1995). Her film credits include Oliver Stone's Born in July (1989) and Cameron Crowe's Individuals (1992), Heart and Souls (1993), Phenomenon (1996) as well as What's Cooking (2000) and Secondhand Lions (2003). The Game Plan (2007) and The Possession (2011) are as well. Sedgwick was one of the New York City native, the daughter Patricia Rosenwald (nee Rosenwald) who was an educator and family therapist as well as Henry Dwight Sedgwick VI, a venture capitalist. Her mother was Jewish. Her father was Episcopalian who was of English origin. Sedgwick declares herself Jewish, and she has stated that she is a participant at Passover seders.
