Lara Logan
Lara Logan was born 29 March 1971. She is a South African journalist, radio and television journalist. She worked as a CBS News journalist from 2002 until 2018.60 Minutes executive Producer Jeff Fager called her factually inaccurate and politcally biased piece regarding the 2012 Benghazi terrorist attack "the greatest mistake in my 10-year-old's watch." In the year 2019 she joined Sinclair Broadcast Group, a conservative media firm. In January 2020 she joined Fox Nation, a subscription streaming service owned by Fox News. She claimed that she had been "dumped by the company" in March 2022. Logan was an assistant news reporter at Durban's Sunday Tribune (1988-1989) and the Daily News (1990-1992). In 1992 she joined Reuters Television Africa as a senior producer. After four years with Reuters Television in Africa, she began freelance journalism. She was hired as a reporter/editor/producer for Fox/SKY, Fox/SKY (in London), CBS News, ABC News, NBC News and the European Broadcasting Union. Reporting on events such as the bombings that took place in 1998 at the United States Embassy in Nairobi and Tanzania as well as the conflict within Northern Ireland and the Kosovo conflict, she worked for CNN.
